World and European floral design champions, artists and leading figures from the flower industry will gather in Bucharest on 12 and 13 October for the fourth edition of Artestry World of Flowers, the International Floral Art Festival.

The event, organised by the Faculty of Horticulture at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, in partnership with Tara Cadourilor, will transform the university campus for two days into a space dedicated to floral art, creativity, inspiration and the latest trends in the field.

One of the main attractions of this year's edition is the presence of floral artists who have taken to the podium at the most prestigious competitions in their field.

According to a press release issued by USAMV on Friday, the festival will welcome Frederic Dupre from France, holder of the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France title, one of the highest distinctions awarded by the French state to craftspeople in recognition of professional excellence.

A medallist at the World Cup of Floral Art in The Hague, Frederic Dupre is a prominent figure in international floral design and collaborates with leading brands and projects, including Venini Murano Glass and Homo Faber.

Gabor Nagy, representing Hungary, will arrive in Bucharest with an impressive track record: runner-up at the World Cup of Floral Art in The Hague, European runner-up, European Youth Champion and Hungarian national champion.

Also attending the festival will be Ionut Carjan, known as Flexyno, a Romanian florist who has worked at international events, including at Ceccotti Flowers in Rome, and an ambassador for Artestry World of Flowers.

The festival stage will also bring together prominent names from Romania's floral art scene.

Guests include Andrei Bindea, an Artestry World of Flowers ambassador and trainer at Lacy Bird Academy, as well as Maria Bunea, winner of the Romanian Cup of Floral Art and first-place finisher at the Botanica Debrecen International Competition.

They will be joined by Vlad Molendac, national floral art champion, and Mihaela Furtuna, who came fourth in the Romanian Cup of Floral Art. Both are graduates of the Faculty of Horticulture in Bucharest.

The festival offers an experience that goes beyond floral design demonstrations, also highlighting related fields that contribute to the industry's development.

The 2026 edition also has a significant educational and business component, with speakers experienced in the international flower industry taking part, the quoted source notes.

Technology is also finding its place in a field undergoing continuous transformation. Madalina Carpinschi will present solutions such as Smart Vendomat for floral bouquets, alongside the Flori din Inima project.

Through its diverse line-up of guests and range of topics, Artestry World of Flowers Festival 2026 will build a bridge between art, horticulture, entrepreneurship, technology and international trends in the flower industry.
